They're tried and tested by us and loved by so many more but what makes these hats so brilliant? 1. They stay on your little one's head, usually with an adjustable chin toggle (with safety-release clasp for peace of mind). So despite many chubby-armed swipes at their hats, our baby boys had to admit defeat. 2. They keep the sun off your little one's face and neck with a proper, wide brim. Much better than a bucket-style hat in our opinion. 3. They are beautiful and comfortable. Soft, breathable cotton in simple, happy designs means your little one is relaxed wearing them and you get many compliments from smiling passers-by on the lovely hats. 4. They have room to grow with an adjustable head toggle. 5. They're machine washable. Enough said.

We are sure you and your little one will love their hat but if you do need to return or exchange an item you must notify us within 14 days of receipt of the item and return the item within 14 days after that. We'd recommend getting proof of postage as you will be responsible for postage costs and safe return of the item. Full details can be found on our Delivery and Returns page. As we are a fledgling business we'd be very grateful if you'd consider keeping and giving the hat to someone else if not suitable for your needs, they make lovely gifts! If the item is proven to be faulty, then we will process an exchange on your behalf and will pay the necessary delivery costs to replace the item for you.

We enjoyed learning about "slip slop slap" in Australia - slip on a shirt, slop on some sun cream and slap on a hat. Retro (very, very!) but handy to remember. We also like the NHS guidance - especially as it specifically suggests a wide-brimmed hat for children protecting their face, ears and neck - hurrah that's what we have here at Sunbeam Hats!
